Annewil and Storm met each other a few years ago, on Christmas Eve. Friends of theirs were secretly hoping something would happen, and made sure to invite them both. And sure enough, they hit it off right away.
Since then, they've gone through two kids, four homes, and one major renovation, trading Amsterdam for a beautiful house among the meadows, just outside the city. They never imagined that one Christmas Eve would bring them here.
Their home sits in a wonderfully quiet setting, built and designed entirely to their own taste.
Colorful, atmospheric, and with a bohemian feel. Annewil can express her creativity in her own light-filled studio. The kids can play to their heart's content in the big garden. And the whole family gathers for meals at the long wooden dining table.
Their Family Lovemap is a beautiful reminder of where they're from and the places they've lived together. It incorporates North Holland and South Holland, their home soil, and Amsterdam, where their children were born. They chose the Coffee Lovers color combination; the dark brown tone adds depth to their interior. Their Lovemap hangs in a cozy sitting area in the living room, as part of a gallery wall, blending in beautifully with the other abstract pieces on the wall.
